Whatever. But it puzzles me, how most people, after deleting one message of six, would still expect have six left?
They subsconsciously place themselves in a middle of a process of reading six messages. And that's what they expect to see on the screen: an indication that they are reading six messages. When they suddenly see six messages turned to five there will be some confusion.
