do you have in mind a scenario, where you don't want the build-in test?
Not really, just want to be flexible. Of course there might be strange
scenarios, e.g. user with sipX (proxy) behind NAT: then the RR header of
the proxy has an private IP and in-dialog requests will fail - but using
your functions we could use to handle the case
