Hi, The original mode of operation (before DB only was added) for PUA and RLS was to use in-memory storage that is periodically backed-up to a database. This allows the memory contents to be restored from the database if Kamailio is restarted. This behaviour has been preserved as mode 0.
There is no memory only (no database at all) mode of operation in PUA or RLS.
