Where is the condition on the length that does not perform update of the name itself? Also, the function get_str_fparam() may use internally the PV static buffers, that expose the same potential issue, if I understood what you mean. Maybe giving an example, pointing in the code where is affecting. I applied the other parts of the patches for now, with some changes to get rid of some compile warnings and extending the check for the multi-leg accounting.
