  : Hi all,

: I posted awhile back that I had successfully compiled 2.0.11 on Solaris
: 2.5 with tcp_wrappers compatability but was having problems with the
: session hanging on logouts. I was hoping that the problem might be
: corrected with 2.0.12, but no luck. tcp_wrappers is correctly doing its
: job by logging the connection (sshd2 runnning from inetd.conf), but I
: still can't get the connection to terminate without a Ctrl-D on the local
: end. I've reported this to Sami L., even tried running gdb debugger for

: Koenig at "www.dreamwvr.com/ssh-faq/ssh-faq-5.html", where he blames the
: problem on the Solaris shared library code and suggests a patch. This
: patch appears to be several versions old and I think has been replaced by
: newer ones, which we have installed on our boxes.

: So, my quest(ion) continues...does anybody know why this problem exists,

: Ok, I'm done venting. Thanks for listening.

Hi again, I'm sorry I have not been of more assistance, but I've
absolutely no clue what's happening. We've trapped the signal's
libwrap uses, but to no avail, it seems.

Big reason for the persistance of this bug is that we can't reproduce
it. DataFellows has some Solaris-boxes, but this bug doesn't
manifest itself in there.

This may be too much to ask, but would it be possible for me to get an
account in your Solaris-system? That way I could try to debug it
myself.
