i would be unfortunate if you could not distribute your product
because of a grey area that seem to not resolve;') perhaps consult with
the FSF and GNU GPL group and see how it is interpreted. plus consider
IDEA and such to build into your program so that you not depend on
algos that are restricted. you might want to consult the pgp group as
they would know the legalities better than pretty much anyone due to the
strain they went through. i will keep my eye open if i see anything
applicable. another item to consider is if you are using class libs
that have been developed in java by others and made freely available
do you or they become responsible when it is distributed in non electronic
form and later developed from this hard copy??? since i come from a
family of lawyers this poses a interesting question for the next family
gathering... but then again probably ! hmmm... since i have not used
your product i can't comment but do know that f secures is developed
offshore for a reason and that protects it from some of the legal
doo dags that it would have to jump through.
