Building SSH 1.2.26 on RH Linux 5.9 (Starbuck)

Has anyone had any luck building ssh-1.2.26 on Red Hat Linux 5.9
(Starbuck)?

I've tried both compiling from source and installing binary RPMS with no
luck.
