Hi Mark,

nm is a command that lists the symbols in an object file (library, *.o,
etc.) If you have a compiler on your Solaris box you must have nm, it is
probably not in your path. It is usually in /usr/ccs/bin/. Try and see if
the man page is there, with $ man nm.

You might have to edit your .profile or whatever your shell uses and add
/usr/ccs/bin/ to your PATH environment variable.
