Dear Ms. Miller:
I am one of the many hundreds of members of the SSH mailing list, which
you are repeatedly spamming with the above message.
I'm sorry to hear about your problem, but what you're doing is the
Internet equivalent of running up in front of a movie screen and yelling
at the audience about how much you dislike the film. In the Internet
context, what you're doing is letting the public know that ITC Telecomm
is clueless about technology, and condones its employees being rude to
the Internet community. Your company is, additionally, pissing off
sysadmins and other technically adept people, which is not a smart thing
to do.
Accordingly, my next logical step, if you do not stop behaving that way,
will be to complain to your company's upper management. (I may also
elect to null-route all traffic to or from your company.)
For your information: Companies whose employees subscribed to mailing
lists are expected to clean up after them. Any such company is expected
to have a competent system administrator performing postmaster duties,
who can send unsubscribe messages to the list-management address, to
remove departed employees subscriptions when necessary. If your company
does not yet have such a sysadmin, it should hire one immediately,
before risking further embarrassment in public.
Please do not respond to this alert by replying to _me_. I'm not
interested, and may have already killfiled your e-mail address by the
time you read this. Instead, please concentrate on fixing your
internal administrative problem. If you lack the means to do this,
kindly escalate the problem to a higher-up who can. (If you don't --
believe me -- I will.) Thank you.
