Hi Pekka,

After installing cd /usr/downloads/openssh-2.5.1p2, I am having
exactly this same problem today, on Red Hat 6.1.

How did you resolve this?

(I didn't specifically configure PAM, but then again, the PAM file in
/etc matches the one that came with this distribution.  And, it used
to work a previous version of OpenSSH)
