The OpenSSH 2.5.2p2 INSTALL document states:

S/Key Libraries:
http://www.sparc.spb.su/solaris/skey/

If you wish to use --with-skey then you will need the above library
installed. No other current S/Key library is currently known to be supported.

My Russian is non-existent and my link-by-link exploration didn't turn up
anything
that looked like skey.

http://www.ja.net/CERT/Long/Securing_Remote_Access.html#where refers me me
to logdaemon-4.4.tar.Z at ftp.win.tue.nl but all of the mirrors were
offline. Another search
of the web turned up ftp.win.ne.jp which contained skey in their logdaemon-5.6
package. This skey compiles under Solaris 2.6 (it produced a libskey.a) but
./configure --with-skey=<path> keeps complaining "Incomplete or missing
s/key libraries."

Could it really be this hard or have I put on my stupid hat again?
