Also, in your settings on SecureCRT, (under Options, Session options, 
Connection) check things like the Protocol, Cipher, MAC, authentication, 
and SSH server.  Most of the defaults work ok, except that for 'SSH 
server', SecureCRT likes to default to DataFellows and it works better as 
'Standard.'  Protocol, of course, is also important.  If you're trying 
Protocol 2 and only Protocol 1 is enabled on the RedHat box, it won't 
connect.  What version SSH/OpenSSH are you running?
