Gary,

Thank you for your feedback. I too am reaching that point that my
ophthalmologist refers to as "a birthday problem". In other words, small
type is getting a harder to read.

If I get more responses regarding the image based fonts, I may decide to
bring the font size up a click or two.

However, there is a really useful workaround (one that I have found useful
for myself at least). As you have found out, the font adjustments available
in IE (and other browsers) do not affect the "ToolTip" display size. Since
the alt text I have added to the links is displayed as a ToolTip, the font
remains unaffected by your browser settings. The trick is to adjust the
ToolTip font size in Windows.

Here's how in Windows XP:
1. Go to the display properties dialog box (Right click on an empty portion
of the Windows desktop (not in the browser) and select "Properties")
2. Select the "Appearance" tab.
3. Click the "Advanced" button to launch the "Advanced Appearance" dialog
4. Scroll to "ToolTip" in the item list
5. set the font size, etc. to suit your needs.

This affects all ToolTips including those used by alt text.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks again,

Mike

I would suggest the left frame Menu Buttons (side bar) font size be
increased to
accommodate that common affliction of those with enough time and money for
live steam -
less acute eyesight.
