Now you bring up a point that would be hard to press against a
manufacturer, their rail has a pre-stressed bias to twist. You had no
problem returning the "twist memory rail" to the seller/manufacturer?
AristoCraft took a lot of persuading before they acknowledged their
rail bender die failed to match AristoCraft rail shape.

This assumes that the straight die-drawn rail stock from the
manufacturer has no twist in it.  My supplier, California & Oregon
Coast Railway, once received a shipment of rail stock that had a twist
in it from the manufacturer.  That rail was useless, and had to be
sent back.
