I am somewhat active on this live steam chat page, Steam in the Garden, and a sidecar motorcycle chat page. I have a sidecar motorcycle. The Steam in the Garden web page is well managed. We discuss mostly gauge 1 and smaller live steam subjects, conventions, and the like. It is run in a formal way and doesn't deviate from the subjects related to live steam locomotives. As on this chat page there is an index of subjects discussed and I can read only what I want. The sidecar motorcycle page is a different story. There it's tires, oil, auxiliary fuel tanks, lean-out, toe-in, axle placement, brands, mounting, get togethers, no end. It has an index also so I can read what concerns me. I think expanding the subjects discussed on this live steam LOCOMOTIVE chat page to include cars, turnouts, track installations, couplings, and such would be a mistake. I even think that ride-on consists should not be included in this chat page. That's another hobby. There are other sources for information about scales of cars, couplings, you name it. So let's keep our chat page in order and dedicated only to any live steam locomotive in scales that don't carry people. Subjects such as live steam locomotives' lighting, remote control, and such should be included in this chat page.
