Hey Y'all! We made it to the "big" local train show for Southern Oregon this afternoon. Besides a few vendors, the show mostly consisted of electrics from G to Z, modular layouts and some nice modeling. The "fun" thing for us was a nice photo display of the restoration being done by the Rogue Valley RR Historical Society on a 1:1 scale original Shay at the Railroad Park in north Medford. They are doing beautiful work. But one of the smiling faces in the photos of busy folks working on the restoration belongs to our own Clark Lord! (For those of you who live elsewhere, Clark's Las Vegas home is almost 900 miles southeast of Oregon.) I also learned that at least one gauge-one live steamer from "the Eureka-Arcata area" has been known to bring his coal-powered loco to run at the Medford Railroad Park. Could that have been Lord Geoff, by any chance?
