Glad you enjoyed the train show. As for the gentleman who steamed his coal fired loco in Medford, 'tweren't me-- and I cant think who it was, we don't have any coal fired steamy people in our GR society except me, in 3-1/2 to 4-3/4 gauge. We must have a sleeper hiding somewhere in town! To Brits; I don't mean a sleeper, like railroad tie ! I'll have to do some checking, the 5'' gauge drivers and up tend to look down on us with our little toy steam trains and sparkies!! At the club meet held at our railway a week ago I steamed the Aristocraft Mikado with 6 heavyweights - it steamed and steamed. Our sparking members were really impressed,) that lovely radio control they thought, just like a sparky! Sparkies? ( I am one too) some are something like vegetarians, they don't like to run live steam engines but they like them to look like steam engines, same as vegetarians who model a lump of tofu into the shape of a turkey!
