I ran my recently purchased BR 01 @ DH.
It 'ran' me round n' round as I attempted to 'see' the water level in the
'sight glass'....not only could I not see the level but I also could not 'see'
if the sight glass was either all full or empty ???????
After this experience I would like to know if anyone has installed an axle
pump in this otherwise excellent performing Locomotive, and relate the method
and expense of doing so...
In the alternative, Mr. Ford's level indicator & pump may be another route.
