This is my third attempt at writing this email. While watching my C-16
run my circuit, up and down the slight gradient and not having to bolt
out of my chair to save it from derailment, I began to wonder why it
would never go too fast (which is to my liking). A friend mentioned it
was because of the smaller drivers (which made sense to me, similar to a
4.11 rear end on a car)

So here's the question: If I was to turn the diameter of the tires on
one of my ruby kits down to a smaller diameter would this give me a
slower overall speed? (I'm thinking yes.) Is there any other known way
to slow it down besides gearing, like maybe a shorter stroke? (Shorter
stroke might not be that difficult; I'm thinking about turning it into
an outside frame so the crank pins can go where ever I feel they would
work best.)

Any and all response welcomed!
