>Firstly Sir Rob, Don't worry about me elbowing Steve away from the track, watch for Kevin Schindler with his new coal fired loco- he has gone absolutely ape!
You are right about the weight of the S2. Fortunately David Leech made a carrier for me and the engine can be wheeled off on to the track, at the same time knocking off any GWR locos ( Castles for example) that are in the way. I am really looking forward to seeing your "show and tell" GWR- since we seem to steam our locos together we can do it with the KGV. I hope Tony has his Castle built too, we can have a competitive run on power and duration with the KGV! Dave Stick's review was not fair to the KGV in my humble and very biased opinion. I have assembled (fiddled together) many Asters since 1979 and I believe the ones offered in the 80s & 90s were of the highest quality. Of course, I was just a young stud then and my eyesight and fingers had youth. See you at the NSS- Steam on! Lord Geoff - Hey, note that three of those letters spell "OLD" That's me, so in the future it is now "OLD GEOFF" - Don't you forget it! >Geoff, > A little birdie told me that in order to be able to lift >the S2, you have taken out a subscription to the Gym!
