Sound is now working. I was focused on testing the sound in Settings/Sound and clicking on the left and right speaker. This test never worked, and still does not work. Yet, when I do a BEEP test via command line, sound works. When I access multimedia content on a browser, sound works. It makes no sense to me, but at least the sound works (for the most part) LOL. Thank you for your help.
