Why not, it does solve a problem there, right?
And yes, I only applied it there as I didn't feel backporting all of
that logic to such an old kernel was a good thing to do at the time.

Oops, I missed that, sorry. The patch originally didn't apply to .32,
but it was just a stupid context issue, I've now fixed that and applied
it there, thanks for pointing it out to me.
