For what task? Presence stanzas are used to create the room, not send
the invitations etc.

I don't know if it is a "big lack" because AFAIK no client developers
have implemented this feature, but I will look at this more before the
XMPP Council votes on approving version 1.23 on January 9. Expect
another list post and SVN check-in soon.
