So I take it you'd like an "account preferences" technology that enables you to disable offline messages? Other prefs of interest: - store offline messages, except if the message is of type headline - deliver to all resources any message that's addressed to the bare JID (à la Google Talk), perhaps with the ability to opt out for any given resource I'm sure there are others... /psa
