Stanza Session Negotiation (XEP-0155) was originally defined as part of
the protocol stack needed to bootstrap Encrypted Sessions (XEP-0116). I
don't see much of a need for XEP-0155 now that we have Jingle, so I am
wondering if anyone has objections to deprecating XEP-0155.

  

XEP-0155 allows initiating communication with a bare JID; Jingle 
doesn't, so it's not quite a straight drop in.
