Hello all. I'm wondering how does existing XMP-RPC patent [http://www.google.com/patents/about?id=WFV4AAAAEBAJ&dq=xml-rpc] effect to usage of Jabber-RPC [http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0009.html]? Does someone has more information about the topic or the mentioned patent?
I ask this, because I have to use open and free protocols in my work, and if I (or someone else) have to pay royalties when using Jabber-RPC, usage of it is not an option. I'm thankful for any information and help! BR, Teemu Väisänen
