Thanks for the follow-up.

Could you give me an idea about the timeline of such a revision? Are we
talking days/weeks/months?
In the meantime, we have adopted the "be forgiving on receiving and strict
on sending", but on sending, we respect the current spec and use "Base64"
(capitalized).
