At its meeting yesterday[1] the council decided not to accept this proposal, for now at least. Reasons for this decision include: - The author doesn't want it accepted (!) - The chair of the Future Jingle SIG does not feel it would be beneficial to that movement to have this proposal accepted. - It's not clear that this is the desired approach to the issue, and we don't have the counter-proposals documented yet.
