I am working on a project where we want to use the resource id as a secondary authentication field and force the use of that value for muc nicknames.
While we expect most users will use our clients, we'd like to document things so folks who prefer their client and can set the resource id to be able to participate. So my question is, within the xmpp standards community, is this the place for a XEP or merely documentation on how we are abusing standards? Thank you.
