Hmm, I really didn't consider that at all. Other methods of discovering XMPP servers like using TXT records are defined in XEP-0156, but the original usage of SRV methods for discovery is in the original XMPP RFC. I don't know who would/should decide that? I don't mind waiting on the XMPP council to reconvene or anything. Thanks, Travis
