Not just in the XSF. In that case, I would advise the Members to vote consciously this time :) I would suggest a few rules of thumb, if some of them are reading this list (highly unlikely, though): 1) Don't elect more than a single person from a project/organization 2) Elect only those who: a) is an author/contributor of an active software XMPP project b) is an author of popular XEP(s) (bypassed Last Calls is preferred) c) is an operator of a popular XMPP service 3) Don't elect those who don't participate standards discussion. Last Calls is a bare minimum the members should attend 4) Elect only those who has concrete goals (not the slogans like "I want to make XMPP better, blah-blah-blah") 5) Re-elect only those who at least tried to achieve the stated goals 6) If you don't think you fit the above requirements, please, don't re-apply Even if these rules are not very accurate, it's much more productive to follow at least some of them rather than blindly saying "yes". _______________________________________________ Standards mailing list Info: https://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/standards Unsubscribe: [email protected] _______________________________________________
