It sounded like Daniel's problems could be fixed with a simple addition to the XEP, and didn't warrant all the complexity of the PEP-based protocol you describe. This all sounds way beyond what a client needs (and wants) to implement. (the fact that it's based on existing XEPs doesn't necessarily make it easy to implement) thanks, Remko
