Hi, So, in my office most of the communication happens via IM, and we have our own XMPP servers for it. I was working today, and there was a particularly irritating person who was logging in and out of IM frequently (probably shouldn't blame him though, maybe he was traveling).
I could not remove him from my roster, and permanently unsubscribing from his presence notification would also not work. What I really wanted was a way to temporarily (maybe for a specified time) unsubscribe from his presence notification, preferably for all my resources, at one go. Is there provision in presence protocol for this? Also, is there a way for me to get answers for these types of questions, without scouring through reams of dry RFCs or by bothering you all for small things like this? -- Regards, Vaibhav Singh
