Hi,

It seems you are talking about sending each message that should be
transfered like a regular message over xmpp.
I would also think that this is to complex.

But just defining a export/import format and transfering the messages out
of band, like upload it with httpupload. then just send a transfer message
with the link, sounds not that complex to me.
