While <inline/> wrapper vs flat stream features is mostly just a matter of syntactical preference as someone who has implemented SASL2, Bind 2, FAST and SM as a SASL2 feature¹ I just want to say that the inline wrapper elements make a lot of sense implementation wise. I’m just passing the entire, de-serialized <inline/> element to my SASL 2 code or my Bind 2 code respectively.
I often hear "Let’s gather some implementation experience before deciding how to proceed with XEP". I’m aware of several people who have implemented parts or all of the SASL2/Bind2/SM stack and seem to be quite happy with the <inline/> wrappers. ¹: https://github.com/xsf/xeps/pull/1215 _______________________________________________ Standards mailing list Info: https://mail.jabber.org/mailman/listinfo/standards Unsubscribe: [email protected] _______________________________________________
