I don't want to be the one to disappoint you, but if you want to keep up the record, you have to realize that to run VPC, you need an OS in there. Connectix packages severa--including Micro$loth (which I'm guessing you want to run). You pay Connectix, Connectix pays Micro$loth the license fee. Micro$loth gets their nickel. On the other hand, VPC 4.0 seems to run well on my (work) G4 533 dual...Windoze 98 SE. I've only had to completely reinstall the system five times since I got it in June. I run the other emulator on my (home) StarMax MT5000/G3-350. Of course it is bananas and kiwi so I can't make a direct comparison. Of course, I don't use either of them very much, so they are relatively stable. -- * Paul Wehr, Publications/Webmaster mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] * * Visit the UMUC Asia web site at http://www.ad.umuc.edu * -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
