Your drive should be reformated (initialized). Even if you do find someway to get 9.1 on your HD the HD should be formated HFS+ You might be able to boot with 9.1 cd if your disk was clean. Apple recommends HFS+ format from OS 8.1 and up. Alsoft the makers of Disk Warrior have a program to allow HFS+ on a disk with OS on it. jr
