Which means what? That it's easy to open? I've been scratched each time
I've done it (though it does get easier each time).

Whatever. After I swapped the top and bottom chips, my Max went from
reading 128MB to 160MB. If you know why, go ahead and explain. But,
really, I don't care. It works. I thank the people on this list who
gave productive advice.

That's your example? There was no end to the bitching and moaning about
that.

Anyway, what's your point? The Starmax had two additional slots for
upgrading. They didn't put the preinstalled chip in the slot it would
end up in if someone wanted to max it out. Pretty silly. And not done
in the interest of the customer.

Well, maybe I want to do it just for the fun of it. What's it to you?

I'm sure some of the people on this list need their StarMaxes for
productivity. But there are some on this list who have productivity
machines, and have fun with their Maxes. And even those people, can get
productivity with an extra machine being a server, jukebox, etc...

So, has anyone painted their case? Any of those people have photo to
share? Anyone doing fun stuff with their Starmax? Please share.
