I haven't. >Does xpostfacto help ? It should, although even 7300-9600 models will have issues. And the various 40MHz "Valkyrie" or "Catalyst" designs like yours will no doubt have a few more. >If not does Mac OS 9.2 or 9.1 support the StarMax ? No, nothing after 9.1 is supported on non-stock-G models. Beige G3 and newer "only." But then again, nothing after 8.1 was "supported" on clones...at least in the traditional sense. Anyway, try this: http://www.os9forever.com/os9helper.html I succesfully used this to easily install the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 Updates on a PowerTower Pro 200 (similar to a beefed 9500). Not sure about other designs. Read what you can, and if you decide to try it put both of the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 .smi files on the desktop first. The exact how-to isn't otherwise super-clear about that. -David -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
