I've read it's the 603-based models that have the biggest hurdles to overcome. The 604-based Macs and clones, however, (either that came that way or were upgraded [say, a 7500/200]) have an easier time. xPostFacto's author Ryan Rempel says OS X 10-10.1 will install on a 604 --- no G upgrade necessary beyond of course your sanity. Don't know if he's been able to get Jaguar to install on a 604 (nor 601) without a G upgrade however. Is there hope? Maybe. Rempel is, or was, working on another class of 603-based Mac, the 2400/3400. If that ever gets ironed out the Tanzanias may be next. -David -- StarMax is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> StarMax list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/starmax.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/starmax%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
