I had a similar question. I have a Starmax 5000/275. I just recently wanted to ad an extra harddrive to go with the one shipped with the computer. I purchased an IDE drive from otherworld computing.
I thought that there was room on the cable for an additional IDE drive, but when I opened up the box. The IDE Cable only had one place to hook up, which was already hooked to the current drive. The SCSI cable had plenty of open slots,so I sent the IDE drive back and bought a SCSI. Am I correct in this choice? I think the Starmax only allows for one IDE Device? Is this true?
