What you need is a USB to Serial adapter.   Keyspan makes one 
<http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/USA28x/> that has had drivers 
updated for Classic through 9.2.2 and OS X.   As to the printer 
driver, you will have to check with Keyspan.
