You may try this driver from Asante:

The 590 series from Asante and the DEC 21041 series both use the "tulip" chipset, so this might work (or it might not!).

I have read numerous reports of getting these to work under Linux PPC if you are willing to make a gigantic change. Also, OSX server apparently has a built-in tulip driver that can handle the Dec21x4 series (good luck installing OSX server on a Starmax!).

However, you could also buy a mac compatible NIC for around $10 U.S., so why go to all of this trouble?
