Uhh, Mike, you wanna be RIGHT or you wanna be helpful?

The power supply IS most assuredly damaged to the point that it's
replacement is a must. After surviving a power surge, it blew it's
110/220V selector switch clean off the rear of the power supply.

Physical damage that will eclipse anything helpful that would come from
checking the battery and pressing the cuda.
