Using 9.1 shouldn't be a problem.  I have at least one set of 9
upgrades.  I had also heard that 9.04 was the preferred  sys for these
machines.  I would be interested in knowing what sort of bugs you have
experienced and what symptoms to look for.  (if the list isn't too
extensive)

Hm, just a warning for if you do go 9 - I found 9.0.4 to be buggy and
unstable, and found 9.1 to be a big improvement.
