Hm, it's been two long now to be sure quite what, and to be honest I don't
know how much was simply caused by running RAM Doubler (which I stopped
running when I concluded that it didn't seem to like 9). However, I think it
just used to freeze a lot for no obvious cause. It did seem a lot happier
after upgrading to 9.1, though.

On the other hand, the machine was also noticeably slower after putting 9
on. Part of this was down to Folder Actions (I doubt this was new to 9, so I
guess the re-install just caused it to reappear) which I turned off, and
perhaps another background app.

Still, I get a Window menu in the Finder now =P 9.1 is pretty nice - tho I
still use 8.6's Sherlock in place of 9's.
