Hello! I've just been gifted a Starmax 3000/200 with OS9.1, about 140MB of RAM IIRC, and a 6GB hard drive. I'm reasonably au fait with x86 machines running Linux amongst other things, but have never laid eyes, never mind hands, on a Mac before.
Any pointers as to what software is still available for OS9.1 would be much appreciated. I've tried searching for Open Source software on the internet, but thus far without much luck. Main category of software I'm interested in is entertainment. Aside from that, a basic WP and spreadsheet, plus an email program and web browser (latter two preferably Open source), and some kind of media player that will handle vorbis would be nice. Pointers as to what kinds of video these things can manage would also be appreciated. I havent quite got a handle on what its capabilities are, yet - all I know is that it easily outclasses x86 boxes of similar processor speed!
