I have this strange problem, where if I upgrade the code from 0.8 to 0.8.1 the _() function does not return anything (not even the english string). This happens only when logged in. When logged out, the english strings are returned (not the translation).
When I revert to 0.8 everything returns to normal. Does anybody know whether something changed in the way gettext is used between 0.8 and 0.8.1 and whether I should set something up differently?
