StatusNet requires at least PHP 5.2.3 with a few extensions enabled. You are missing at least 2 of these required extensions. I did some web searching (google "godaddy php mbstring" for example), and I'm not sure what you need to do exactly to enable the extension. If you have access to php.ini, you simply need to edit it to enable to these extensions, but I don't know if you have such permissions. You may want to contact godaddy support and ask them how to do this. > > Do you know how to fix this? I can easily upgrade hosting. It depends on the hosting provider. These extensions are fairly low level, common functionality - I'm surprised your provider doesn't have them enabled. I suggest you do your homework if you decide to evaluate other hosting providers, and ensure that you can enable extensions, or at least have the extensions you need available. > > Lastly, would you recommend switching hosting?
