Hi, before i completely ditch godaddy and make a complete mes of my existing hosting, files, domains, etc i wondered if u could help a noob get some things ironed out... Im really impressed with the script (goes without saying, but i did so deal with it :p)
So after uploading to my ftp and visiting install.php this is what i see: Require PHP version 5.2.3 or greater. Cannot load required extension: xmlwriter Cannot load required extension: mbstring Do you know how to fix this? I can easily upgrade hosting. Do you think this will fix the other two problems (xmlwriter and mbstring)? I realize this is not a flaw of your script but rather issues im dealing with with my server... Lastly, would you recommend switching hosting? If so, can someone more experienced recommend me to a company with php hosting they know i can use with status.net? Theres no reason for me to waste time and money on godaddy hosting if they are too complicated to get working with your script... Thanks for any insight! P.s. Anyone recommend fatcow.com for hosting?
